When I was about 11 my parents divorced. It was as if everything was perfect and then we woke up one day and were told my parents were separating and getting a divorce. And no... my father wouldn't be spending Christmas day with us. I remember crying for days over my new found sadness. It was such a big deal to me I didn't tell anyone for what seemed like forever. What our family experienced over the years that followed, was seeing our father become a millionaire many times over and our mother (who grew up surrounded by wealth) lived at a near poverty level while tying to hide this fact from her children.
My siblings and I made a decision we would never live like my mother... paycheck to paycheck. My sister went on to become a successful corporate lawyer and rainmaker for her firm. My brother is a well known investment banker in the oil and gas business who travels globally dispensing expertise. And my other sister a nurse, works in the day surgery unit in a major Chicago hospital.
As a result of this experience, seeing my mother's ability to produce enough income to sustain our lifestyle spiral downward while my father was on a wealth accumulation path caused me to never want to experience not having enough money or the required skills to get the results I needed. Therefore I have decided to spend my life helping other people grow their business and satisfy their needs of having enough money, time, and energy in order to produce breakthrough results.
